Are you a new mom? Do you home school or interested in it? New to your area? I found this awesome app for women; mostly moms. I recommend it now to pretty much any woman I know. It has been so beneficial for me just using the free version

First off; I have met tons of women from the app even in person. Sometimes we meet for small group brunches or trips to museums. Since I home school; I was initially looking for those homeschooling advice and support forums. Now there are so many groups for hobbies, recipes, and play groups that I am fond of.

There are groups for so many lifestyles. Whether you travel often, love to do crafts, or struggle with co-parenting...there is something for that on the app. Into reading or audio books? Try those book clubs; most are virtual only anyhow...meaning low-commitment for busy moms.

This year alone I have been to quite a few events in my area that were mommy-and-me style. If you work at home; this is a great app to socialize a bit. You may feel lonely at home a lot so could use a friend to chat with or just get out for a cup of coffee with. You may find some of their podcast-style features helpful since many are educational. Download it now~

This app is free and never have I paid a dime to use it or make new mom friends from it. When I first downloaded it years ago; I never attempted at using it due to not being the most “tech savvy.” Now it’s one my favorite apps to use. Only regret?  I wish I would have gotten into it sooner.

Not only can I find support during motherhood from it…it’s been beneficial towards my homeschooling journey. My son even loves it! He has been able to have more friends as an only child. My mood has even been way better as I have more positive things going on in my life when it comes to overall wellness. I have more friends and I am so much more happier.

The homeschooling group I am in on there is actually going on a field trip next month to an educational children’s museum. The children worked on sewing skills and learned more about planets last month. A trip to the science museum even happened while another amazing homeschooling mom with an infant too drove from another city to join.

Being a stay at home or full-time working mom can be lonely and feel overwhelming at times for some. Those pricey children’s sports and classes are wonderful; but I never made mom friends for lunch, coffee, or play dates from them I have noticed. Usually the parents at those spots all seem busy and just not hanging around at those sports practices for loads of chatting. Personally that’s my alone time to sit in the car and catch up on work emails.

My state has a lot of family-friendly events and restaurants that I have been wanting to check out. I find it a lot more fun attending craft fairs and movies now with moms who share similar interests. Especially for more walking motivation and those long park outings. At least now I can chat with an awesome woman over coffee while our children play. Sometimes the moms I meet on this app have children the same age as my child which helps…mine absolutely loves making new friends.

This free app is like a much like a dating site; but way better I think…and for moms! There are forums for advice and women host meet-up style parties and gatherings in some areas.

My calendar is now full of craft nights and cool “mom-and-me” type outings where I won’t need a babysitter.  I love the “match-making” effect on this app although I joined mostly for finding playdates and homeschooling field trips. I just so happened to make really awesome mom friends too. Who would’ve thought?  I used to be quite the introvert.  Now I love going to the girls night out parties and the book and walking club I am in.
This app has even helped me get out my own comfort zone a bit. I am way more positive and friendlier now. It was a lot of stress being a stay at home mom without many friends as I am an only child. I am just used to hanging out alone and not socializing as much as I would like. I guess a lot of it was due to being shy or having a fear of meeting mean girls from bad experiences in the past.

Now I understand it’s okay to just get out a bit for an hour play date. It is nice to support other moms…no one is perfect! I have only met nice and caring moms from this helpful app. No one has been judgmental or mean; besides…even if I don’t “fit in” there are plenty of online-only groups while my child still gets to explore the city with me a bit more. I think about how hard it must be for hosts to hope someone shows up at their events they plan and want to help those moms out. Think about those children who have no one to attend their birthday parties. I want to be there for those moms because I know exactly how it feels.

I have even started hosting my own events even if only a few moms can attend. It’s not all about me; it’s about my child knowing how to be friendly and welcoming too. Most of all it is about those one or two new moms that may show up who really needed someone to talk to that day. You never know what someone is dealing with. Maybe they are overwhelmed with chores and being a new mom so that coffee date really helped brighten her day. Besides; I feel better leaving play dates making new friends.

Just this month alone I attended a moms night out event, brunch with some women who happened to live literally blocks away (we all didn’t know that beforehand), and quite a few indoor playground play dates. Another moms night out dinner is even coming up; the last one went really well I went to. It is so important for moms to get together here and there for positive conversation and making new friends.

This is a fantastic app for those looking for more support throughout motherhood or their pregnancy. Maybe you have a toddler who would benefit from a play group in your area. Too shy right now? There are virtual groups for literally every hobby or interest you can imagine. The recipe, craft, fitness, and reading ones are enjoyable for myself. A walking and book club in my area is just what I needed!

Get started using this awesome mom app today!  app.

Are you searching for a photographer to capture timeless photographs for your family? Is it time to update your children's photographs? I have a wonderful company you may find useful to share with you.

Best of all...apparently you can do a FREE photo session! You would just pay for the images you like.

I like how on Thumbtack; you can read reviews of photographers PLUS the number of times they've actually been hired from the site. You can see their reviews and a profile of them as well which makes it more personable.

Ever heard of Flytographer? They seem to have some talented photographers you may consider booking with; even if you are on a vacation. I hope you find a wonderful photographer to capture your incredible memories for you. I hope this blog helped you or let you know about some companies you have not heard of before.

Did you know that some bloggers are earning thousands of dollars per week from the comfort of their homes? Have you ever wondered how exactly do bloggers make money? Then you are in the right place! I have been blogging for years and wanted to share my knowledge and tips. You can start your very own blog in these easy steps; it is way easier than you probably think.

1. Choose a blog niche; which will be what you want to blog mostly about. Even if you have a fashion blog...you still may post things about travel here and there so do not get so stressed about sticking to one niche. This just helps you know your target audience. Maybe you would like to start a crafting or parenting blog? What is a topic you could go on and on about? Do you love cooking and sharing recipes? Recipes seem to always be a great blog niche and topic.

2. Next go ahead and think about a blog name. Maybe something catchy? Perhaps something that goes along with the main niche you will blog about.

3. You will now want to get started by getting hosting and a domain name for your blog. Blogging can be a very affordable business to start. I invested very little for what I have the potential to profit and have earned thus far.

To create images for your blog and social media posts; try using Canva. It is pretty popular amongst bloggers and content creators. I like making pins for each blog post I write; then pinning them on Pinterest and my social media platforms.

When you do start blogging; you will want to be consistent. I never spent money on courses to learn how to blog; it was a lot of learning and experimenting for myself. I wrote blog posts; then shared them with others. Then I joined affiliate programs to monetize my blog. Some affiliate programs do accept smaller blogs, and some did not accept me until I grew my traffic and they have seen I was more consistent. That is okay! Your niche also just may not be what some advertisers are looking for; regardless; you can find plenty of companies who accept micro-influencers or those just starting.

You do have to add disclosures when you are promoting products, doing sponsored posts, and being involved in affiliate marketing ads. You can find out how to do all that easily for free before you publish your first blog post. I would then spend all your time pinning your posts to Pinterest to gain more views. Pinterest is like a visual search engine and some people's happy space for a bit. That is why I suggest positing things with fun, catchy headlines that sound motivational or helpful to them.

When it does come to promoting on social media; I like to focus on just two platforms mainly. I do have accounts on more than two platforms for my blogging business but I put my energy mainly into two as to not spread myself too thin...resulting in mastering nothing! Another lesson learned....so learn from me. Focus on the platforms that are generating the most traffic for you; your blog analytics and stats can show you that on your dashboard area upon login.

You can always get an accountant once your business starts growing and to prepare for taxes. I also love using Honeybook for contracts with sponsors, templates, and more.

You do not have to be a "perfect" writer. You can be yourself and type as you are talking to a friend. Stay consistent and do not give up! Happy Blogging!

Have you been wanting to try a fitness class but are unsure you want to commit just yet? Perhaps you have been wanting to focus on your overall health goals more and need to find a great fitness studio to begin with helping you feel more motivated to show up.

Trying a fitness class can have its perks! The fitness studios I have tried seem far more personable than when I go to busy gyms to work out. Not only can you reach fitness goals by attending fitness classes; it is a perfect way to meet new people in your area.

Being a busy mom means little time for myself. I like how these classes are offered at various times of the day. You can find a studio or location closest to you and see if you like it first…

That’s right! You can try it before you buy it; which I love. How many times have you made a purchase you just were not happy with? I have been there and feel your pain. These companies allow you to try a fitness class before signing up as a member. How about a trial class offered at no cost to you?

When I used to work at a fitness center; a lot of people traveling from out of town would stop in to work out and use a free trial pass. If you are staying at an air bnb and totally needing to get a work out session in; that is a good idea!
